Travels in Nepal: Yaks, Monasteries and Mountains by Outdoor Photo Journey
Nepal is a land of high mountains, yaks, monasteries and mantras. Wedged between the Himalayan range to the north and the steamy jungles to the south, Nepal’s cultural landscape is as diverse as its physical one. Its people’s religious practices ranges from Indian-style Hinduism to Tibetan Buddhism. Nepal is also home to eight of the world’s ten tallest mountains.
In this talk, photographers Ariel Estulin and Louis Au will present their work from their recent trip to Nepal. Their journey begins in the chaotic city of Kathmandu and continues into the high Himalayas. You will embark on a photographic journey on the centuries-old stupas and temples and the spectacular vistas of the Himalayas.
